Hi everyone,

I have my other problem w/ the USB audio device (Sony/Xitel digital Pclink) solved, but now I have this one....I restarted after I fixed the other problem, and then looked at the device manager to make sure everything was working. When got there under my USB audio device it said: NTKERN.vxd and MMDEVLDR.vxd USB device drivers for this divice could not load this device driver (code 2). It said I should update the driver, which I did, no luck, same message. I have windows 98. Anybody help me out on this one?

Thanks

If you have Win98 I have no idea why you would be getting an NT Kernal VXD error. I would blow out all the drivers and associated applications for this device and reinstall them. You might also want to check the manufacturers web site for updated drivers and utilities.

See, the thing is, it is suppose to run off of all generic windows 98 drivers. But my win98 cd is at home (i am attending college) so i just downloaded all the needed drivers for the program. I hear that a lot of people have had this problem w/ ntkern/mmdevldr.vxd though. Plus win98 was added to this computer. Win95 was the orignal OS (Pretty sure it was anyway). Where should the ntkern/mmdevldr.vxd be located in the computers files to work, if that has any affect.

Any ideas?
