I am going to format a Pentium 2 Laptop (Lame..Yes I know). It has a 3.02 GB Hard drive. I read somewhere that is the hard drive is less than 30 GB (or maybe it was 20, i forget) than you should use FAT. If it was more than 30, than NTFS should be used. Is is true? And if it is, than why? I thought NTFS was faster.

I'd use FAT32 on that drive. NTFS is not faster, it's more robust and space efficient for large drives. No real gain for a small size like that.

Think I'd get better performance with FAT32? Or is there really no difference. It's a Pentium 2 so the slightest performance gain would be great lol.

You won't be able to tell the difference, though some folks swear that FAT32 had a marginal performance edge. On a slow machine, they may be right, since there is a bot more overhead in the NTFS filesystem. In any case, you won't be able to tell the difference.
