I have windows xp and aol

i get a message that says :a program has asked to connect to the internet. like every five or ten minutes.

could you tell me how to get rid of this message.

Do you have ZA? (Zone Alarm) It should say what the program is. Post it for us. Also, if it is ZA you can disable the pop-up in ZA.
