Noise cancelling earphones

Hi
I`m looking for affordable noise cancelling cup (over the ear) headphones.To reduce the cost & maybe reduced the battery being drained by Bluetooth I`m looking for those with cables & cups over the ears only (which has been harder to find locally than I thought,normal cables not USB cables to plug into a laptop) I would prefer to have a button on the cable or earphone where I can pause and skip to the next song (and as a bonus adjust volume) I would really appreciate some suggestions (preferably under 70, maximum 100 EURO ) (I don't need a microphone,but don't care if there is a detachable one)
What brands have you found are consistently good and how comfortable are the headphones after wearing them for over 2hours? (What brands should be avoided & is it possible to find good 2nd hand ones?)
Does anybody know how protective ear cups that one uses when sawing wood,the ones that can be connected to an mp3 player compare to noise cancelling headphones? (Which would reduce the noise of a dentist drill the most?)
