I've researched many solutions for solving this error res://shdoclc.dll/DNSERROR but all seem to involve being able to access websites to download software. This happens on mywindows xp professional but I'm now using my mac which isn't having any trouble accessing websites.

How can I get past the res://shdoclc.dll/DNSERROR so that I can start trying some of the solutions posted?
