daughter presented her computer due to no sound from internal speakers on this HP Touchsmart 520-1050. Headphones work fine. I have run through HP Support program and it shows everything working.. everywhere that I know of shows volumes up and none muted. Updated to newest audio driver. in past unit had been set with Bluetooth speakers, but none now. I am at wits end on what to do. I feel that It is something stupid simple but it's beyond me. Simple protocol please, right now I am willing to show my ignorance.

Try this
Use a non-conductive tool (toothpick or air can spray nozzle, etc) and poke it into the jack and wiggle around. These jacks cut the connection to the internal speakers when the headphone jack is plugged in and sometimes when you pull out the headphone jack the internal connection does not reconnect. I also gave it a shot of air to clean out any debris.
