Hey there, i had vista on my laptop, i formatted and installed XP, went to the Sony website got the Audio Codec driver for my Model which is VGN-CR22G installed the driver, rebooted and Sound in Control panel is still greyed out! Windows Audio is Enabled

Please state your model with more detail. I couldn't find it on the SONY site. What does the sticker on the machine say exactly?

(I tried SONY U.S and Canada sites.)

Windows Audio is Enabled, and Yes i downloaded and installed the Chipset Drivers + Realtek High Definition Audio CODEC Driver still nothing, its really wierd cause when i loadup the PC i cant get into BIOs, i keep pushing DEL but it does Nothing then the XP screen loads
