Good evening

Got a problem, I have Acronis True Image and I have restored the settings stored which is about 2 years old now. I have done this loads of time to clean the pc and start afresh. Problem is i am now unable use computer - "no signal" on pc showing up. Anyhow i have been fishing about and it looks like the graphics card is not working, there is no sign of it in dxdiag/display. I know the graphics card is Radeon 9200 SE AGP and i also have the disc, but i still cannot get it to work, I am safe mode at the moment. Any help or guidance would be really appreciated cos its doing my shed in

Do you have another graphics card that you could use to try and see if that's the problem?

Try re-installing the video drivers for this card.

I havent got another graphics card. I have tried reinstalling drivers but that is not working. AMD Athlon MMX 3DNow 1.2ghz Radeon 9200 SE Motherboard AS Rock 5pci 1agp 3ddr dimm

Do I need a new graphics card and if so what is a good buy - thanks

Not necessarily. Do you have a friend who has the same graphics card? Is that card a ATI or Nvidia?

no unfortunately no spare graphic card - it is an ATI - sorry I didnt understand the link you sent, i went into it but it was too technical for me. Running windows xp professional

Wrong place to do that lol...that's not for your graphics card...its' to remove a specific version of spyware/adware.

Hmm, only suggestion I can make is to either buy the same model, or ask a friend who might have the same model...or buy a better model.

Or you could wait till the others that know far more than I do about these kind of things...(I use integrated graphics...so it kinda sucks.)
