With Outlook Express open; click the Tools menu; Options; Security tab; ensure the box that has 'do not allow attachments to be opened or saved' next to it is cleared. Under the Read tab; ensure the box that says 'automatically download message when viewing in the preview pane is Checked. click Apply; click Ok. Close then restart OE. does this resolve your issue?
no picture content in e-mail
when i click on my email to open my doonesbury cartoon from www.ucomics.com. the comic does not appear. BUT , if i hit the reply or fwd: button the comic appears. is that strange or what? thanks, Dano

THANKS for the help. i figured it out that i had to change it from read html only to read text only and voila it worked!!
