After I reset the laptop (HP Pavilion 10-n200nl detachable -32bit operating system, x64 based processor) and installed windows 10 through USB device the laptop has no audio drivers at all.. In the DEVICE MANAGER it doesn’t even show any option for audio, NO “sound, video and game controllers” nothing related to audio/sound under “system devices” neither under “other devices” the sound icon in the desktop says “no audio output device is installed” plus when I click the right button of the mouse in the icon the only 3 options are ; 1open sound settings 2speaker set up (unknown) 3troubleshoot sound problems. I already tried to solve it with troubleshoot but nothing happened.
anyone knows what to do? help?
thank you in advance

Hi, and welcome to TSG.

Have you tried downloading and installing the audio (and any other) drivers from the support section of HP's website?

You're welcome.

I am going to guess that the generic Windows 10 installation package contains just enough drivers to get the video and maybe network running correctly on the most common hardware configuration and expects the user to get the rest.
