No matter what, my PC has no audio

699 Views 3 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  jenae
So I have tried everything from reinstalling my audio drivers and devices to trying to solve the problem with a newly installed version of windows, nothing works. I have no sound ever since I changed out my power supply. There can't possibly be any hardware failure because I have tried multiple sound cards (that I know work) and the onboard audio. So far, I cannot output any kind of sound from my PC (no matter what).

We need your computer brand and serial number or service tag number.
What sound card does it has?
Are your speakers properly connected.
I know this is a dumb question, but I know of it happening. You don't have headphones plugged in anywhere, do you?

Hi, press the win + x keys together, select Powershell(admin) from the options, powershell will open.
At the prompt type:- cmd (press enter)
Keep the powershell window open, you can minimize it while you copy the cmds.

Next:- copy both these cmd's separately, right click anywhere in the powershell window, the cmd will append to the prompt, press enter.
Two notepads will be produced, copy and paste both here please.
