Support for the following legacy protocols is discontinued in Windows XP:
NetBEUI, a non-routable protocol
DLC, a non-routable protocol
AppleTalk, a protocol used with Apple computers
Took a look and NWLink IPX/SPX/Netbios Compatible Transport Protocol is available as an option to install.
Again, according to Microsoft:
NWLink IPX/SPX/NetBIOSCompatible Transport Protocol (NWLink) is the Windows XP Professional implementation of the Internetwork Packet Exchange/Sequenced Packet Exchange (IPX/SPX) protocol. You can use NWLink to connect Windows XP Professional clients to NetWare resources, or to allow NetWare clients to access Windows XP or Windows 2000 resources. Microsoft Client Service for NetWare operates over the NWLink protocol. NWLink automatically installs with Microsoft Client Service for NetWare.
