I'm having a hard time loading NHL 2004 on my computer. I am able to install the program and set up all the games but when it comes to actually playing a game, the computer shuts down and restarts. I have XP Pro, have defragged, deleted cookies, temp files, done all Windows XP and critical updates, even IE repair, optomized ie.....

I've had the sides off the CPU and blew out the dust, still doesn't seem to be making a difference. I have NHL 2002 and it works just great. I'd appreciate any help out there folks. :)

i've got everything updated on my computer. drivers etc.....don't know what the problem is. the only weird thing is that when i install the program, in add/remove windows program list it has the program as being 1064mb ram which i find really weird.........any idea why?
msn tech, please try to keep questions here on the forums. I don't usually look at my email account anymore.

As for the 1064Mb, I think you are getting mixed up the RAM with the size of the game. The size is reference to how much space the game has used up.

Do you have enough disc space to play?
