Hi everyone,

Hopefully someone can help me out here. I'm running with Win XP Pro. McAfee virus protection. Two hard-drives, C:\ (my main) & E:\ (my other, or backup, music, notes, etc)

The problem is this. Yesterday McAfee auto ran a virus scan. It quarintined a virus called "New Win32". This was located under my E:\System Volume Information\_retore... Unfortunitly I hadn't noticed this until I turned my computer back on, and could not gain access to the drive.

Now what I've done so far is that I went under "My Computer->System Properties-> System Restore" & turned off the System Restore for E:| drive. But was gone when I tryed to turn it back on. Some guidelines I found on the net & thought was going to help the problem.

But now The drive is not being shown under "My Computer->System Properties-> System Restore". But the drive is being show under "My Computer". But when I click on this harddrive is get the following error information. "E:\ is not accessible The File or directory is corrupted and unreadable". Just in case. This drive was working perfectly fine.

So any suggestions/help/tricks/tips out there that anyhow can help or direct me in.

Thank you all in advance.
