I have a website. I changed hosts and obviously servers. Now when I type in the url it takes me to my old site (which is still up). When my friends type it in they go to the new one. Also when I send email through my website email server it goes through the old server.

I am running Windows XP Home. What setting do I need change to resolve this. Its bizarre! Some cache somewhere has this info stored and I dont know where it is. I have deleted my temporary internet files and cleared my browser history.

If you JUST changed the servers, it can take up to 72 hours for the DNS to propagate through the interent. In this case, your internet provider may not have updated yet, while his has.
