ASAP stands for the Alliance of Security Analysis Professionals.

It's made up of Forum Admins and Staff of assorted security support boards and sites who have joined together in a joint effort to make helping those that need assistance as seamless a process as possible, with cross-referrals given to security products and support sites for those products if needed.

ASAP's goal is to ensure a high standard and quality of security support no matter where you seek help, and to promote the products used to keep you clean and safe in an equal and fair manner. You will no longer see "product wars" like the one that took place between Ad-aware and Spybot Search and Destroy - all this does is hurt the end user, and we feel that is unacceptable.

Another purpose of ASAP is that in view of the recent DDOS attacks on various support sites, this ensures quality support and assistance will continue no matter what - knock one of us out, and another will pick up right where it left off - we will not be deterred in that fashion any longer.

If you see the ASAP logo or banner used by a site, bulletin board, or person, you can be assured that you're getting the best support and assistance possible, as the combined efforts of all ASAP members are involved in helping everyone, and we won't give up until you're safe and clean.

ASAP is a non-profit volunteer network.
ASAP was formed by Maddoktor2 as a means of attempting to establish a network of security professionals that sets aside the product wars and works as a team and this is the neutral location for ASAP :). You'll also find the logo starting to show up at various forums.
