New PC shuts down

Hey! So I am very confused, I just built my pc with some savings, and now it results that when I play any game, and move it to a decent quality, the PC shuts down, and I dont want to mess up the hard drive, so I am asking for help since I am going crazy and my head hurts after trying so hard to fix it.

The specs are:
Board Asus B360M A
Core i5 9400F
Ram Ryzen 8GB 3200 or likely
Power supply Thermaltake 450W
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1650
Windows 10 home

I have checked the temperature, and is not high, it just shuts down.

Rocket League runs at ez 200 frames in ultra 1080p I checked it the first time before it shut down

So if someone here can help me, I would apreciate it a lotttt,

My head just hurts and I can't think other options.

Or it isnt just when I move it to a decent quality, I have rocket league on the lowest quality, and I cant even even access to the inventory cuz it shuts down, or if I lower the fps, so this gets me more confused

No clue what that means or what you're trying to say.

This tells us absolutely nothing....we need the actual temps. Temps at idle and while on load (playing a game).

Have you installed all the drivers from you mobo DVD that is provided?

Hmm, When I open Rocket League for example, the game is ok for some time, but if I try to change the quality of the game, like shadows, or moving the fps, or anything, the pc just crashes and shuts down.

35 Normal, and 50-60 in game.

I don't have anything to read a dvd so pretty much I went to every single page and downloaded the latest driver, also Asus has a custom Driver thing that updates the drivers the first time you start the PC.
You should have went to your mobo support page and downloaded the drivers directly.

This probably do to your low end entry level GPU. You'll have to run all your games on lowest settings. Have you installed Aorus Engine....this will help OC your GPU? This may help you with your games performance.

Is that just 1 stick of RAM installed or 2?

No, but I will check how to OC this GPU with that software if it helps

Yep, just one stick
That might be part of your problem. That mobo is designed as dual channel. Meaning you need to use both ram slots. Here's your user manual explain the DIMM slots....page 17.

When you installed your cpu cooler did you use thermal paste? If so, how did you apply it?
I see a number of potential issues here;
1 Your choice of motherboard. The "B" chipset boards are designed for business [hence the B in the chipset] NOT gaming. In addition, this is a lower end board. Asus makes some very fine motherboards however this one is not one of them. It is fine for running office, email, etc; that is what it was designed to do
2 Your ram. Most of the time, 3200 ram needs a higher vdimm or ram voltage set in the bios. If you used XMP in the bios, that should set parameters correctly. XMP works pretty well on the intel side; not so much on AMDs
3 There are numerous bios updates that address performance issues. Are you running the latest bios? If you do decide to update the bios, be sure you read and FULLY understand the flashing procedure. A bios update is not difficult however an incorrect flash can render your board unbootable ie junk. The only way I ever update a bios on an asus board is by using EZFlash which is built into the bios; again read your manual.

Next what did you use to monitor temps and voltages? The B boards from asus usually do not have monitoring software available for download because the board is not designed for any type of stressful endeavor. I would probably use the intel extreme tuning utility since this should monitor temps. In addition, you can run a stress test and monitor temps while doing the stress test.

In short, you have miss-matched parts; a motherboard not designed for your intended use, a pw supply that is not up to running a gaming type system [the only thermaltake units I recommend using are the tough power series] and a single ram chip rather than a matched pair for dual channel.
