I know this has been posted before, but I cant seem to find it on here. There was a fix out there that added the necessary line to the reg. and it fixed the problem with having the "New Folder" option missing. If anyone has the link, please be so kind... :up:

Is the whole "New" menu gone or just the folder option? What operating system? Does it work to use the "File" menu within a folder?

Its windows Me, and yes the entire New Option is gone. Its because I needed to upgrade my drivers for my video card, its happened before and someone had a quick fix file...

This is probably the one you were referring to. But one poster who lost the New menu after upgrading video drivers never found a solution. Hope it works for you.

The registry patch Elvandil listed may not be necessary in its entirety and needs some editing in any case.
