I just got a CD Burner installed on my Windows 98 computer, as well as 256mb ram, and now my CD-Roms will not run on both my CD Burner and regular old CD drive. The programs auto-start, and then quit responding. Is this because of the CD-Burner, or the ram? What do I do?

this is likely the fault of the ram, it could be faulty, or improperly seated. Remove it and see if the problems go away, if the do try putting the new piece back in making sure its properly seated. make sure not to mix pc66 and pc100 with pc133 ram. If this doesn't work post again.
