My house has recently been wired with a wireless DSL network. Everything works very well except for one computer which does not seem to acknowledge any sort of DSL connection at all. I know there is no problem with the DSL because the it can be accessed from any other computer in the house. For some reason, this one computer does not connect. Any idea what might be going on? If u need more details just let me know. Thanx a lot

Does the router have the capacity for all the PC's? Is the computer in question in an area where the signal is not strong enough to make a connection?

Yes, the router does have capicity for all the PC's. The computer in question is the main computer in the house. It is directly connected to the modem (through wires), its the only one that is not wirelessly connected.

Directly connected to the modem? There is generally only one Ethernet port per DSL Modem and i am assuming you have something from the modem into your wireless hub or router at the moment(from Modems ethernet port). Sounds like you are connecting to a terminal port or something. If there is another Ethernet port on your Modem, look at the link lights on your network card when the cable is plugged into it....do you have a link and activity light going? I would also check your cable to make sure it is pinned correctly.
