Hi.. Okay I have DSL and use Win98 SE .. Now when i start up my computer I get this thing popping up asking me for my network password.. all i have to do it hit cancel to get rid of it and then it will finish loading windows and the rest .. Now how can i get rid of it.. I know there is a way buy i keep forgetting.. also how come it takes so dang long for my computer to start up.. I hardly have anything on my start up list.. No i dont have Mcafee or anything else of the like starting up I have just the basics.. trust me i have deleted everything that is not needed there I have like four things on my start up.. any ideas??

not saying ur wrong or anything.. I have gotten rid of the login password thing before I just forget how.. and it still can use the network card.. i need to start writing this stuff down.. dang.. okay thanks for the help..

Okay i got rid of that.. now.. i talked to my neighbour who uses the same system and DSL provider that I do.. when i go to my control panel/networking and click on it i get this networking is not complete do u want to finish? then i have to click yes or no. i have been getting that before i took the network password sign in off.. I also have a ton of stuff showing in that window that comes up when i click on networking and my neighbour ( who unfortunately is going away for the winter) says i shouldnt have half of the stuff i have in there .. i only need about 5. anyone have any ideas? here is what it shows i have.
