on my other computer, when I navigate to control panel, network connections, there is only a blank window..the icon has disappeared. When I go into device manager it says my network card is there and working fine, there is no yellow exclamation mark...I can open command and release/renew and get response...I can ping google and it responds, but IE wont work. Any suggestions? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the network card and it's drivers...nothing.

Open a Command Prompt and type each of the following lines and depress Enter:

regsvr32 netshell.dll
regsvr32 netcfgx.dll
regsvr32 netman.dll
