nero won't work when burning video

Ecvery thing on nero worked recently but all of a sudden when it comes to burning video cd's it crashes just after i click burn. I run xp and have had no problems up until now. Am i missing a driver or something, nero's help page is no good and neither is microsoft's which just says to re-install but that does not work.
Any help would be much appreciated.
