When I had Nero 5.5 doing a back up audio CD took 3 mins. I upgraded to Nero 6 (same computer!) and now an audio CD takes 15 mins!!
Why is this happening? What can I do to put it right?? Thanks

Yes.........it says it is writing at 20x speed.

Just curious, what version of nero 6 are you running? (Ie: 6.3.1.3)

I am not sure - it was the Nero powerpack (nero startsmart) that says it has Nero 6 with it.

If you haven't done so, open up Nero and check the exact version by going into the Help drop down list -> About Nero Burning Rom. Earlier versions of Nero 6 are buggy so an update is maybe all you need. Latest Nero version is 6.3.1.6 I believe.

You can go to Nero.com and check for the update there. Updating, most of the time helps.
