Guys im building 2 computers, the specs are:

1)one for a person with a small business making drawings for communications of customers houses. the person uses the computer for long hours and needs internet access.

second computer:

2)this one is for a typical teenager, the person wants it to download and listen to music, chat with friends. and probably play games

so what kind of OS do you recommend for each one? i mean for XP there is like home, media, pro, i dont know which to go with for each
thanks in advance

You know, I have Media Center 2005, and I honestly don't ever use it. Probably since I don't like watching TV on my computer, but anyways.

Edit: Sorry, I meant I use the operating system (DUH!) but not the Media Center software.

Yep . . If you do not click on the "Green Button" to bring up the Media Center overlay, it's just plain 'ol XP . . you'll never even know MCE is on it!

Exactly, it's basically XP Professional with Media Center.
