I don't think you can use the files in Shadow Copy as that is a Windows system folder directly. You will need to right click on a folder/file and choose Properties > Previous Versions but since you have reinstalled Windows, I don't know if this will work.

Need Help Recovering Files
Hello I accidental through one way or another installed the memz virus on my laptop and it wouldn't boot, after a load of attempts I was hopeless. My laptop had all my important work and assignments. I reinstalled windows, but after installing a file recovery app, I discovered that not all my files are gone. In a partition called shadow copy of c drive I found all these weird file with no way to run them. I am not sure how to recover all my old files. Thanks in advance.
