For some reason, anything on my computer that requires javascript isn't working today. I can't log in to anything that requires a secure server, and my search function on my computer isn't working. I've tried enabling java in my internet properties, but that doesn't seem to work either. Any ideas?

Have you tried clearing cookies, deleting temp & off line content & clearing history in the properties?
If that doesn't work try setting all the IE propeties back to default then try
