Hi,

I have an HP 7200N computer, athlon amd 3200 processor, running XP. I can't access my bios, I've tried all of the F keys and delete key. Any advice? Could it be a bad keyboard? Thanks.

keeep pressing delete button not just once on start up

try f10 and f1

if you totally MUST access it for somereason you may instaed NEED not want ,,, to reset bios , to do this turn comp off remove from power, take side off look for small battery a silver one remove it for a minute then put back together and re boot as normal

keyboard may be an issue but unlikely, some older bios s did not allow keyboard support on start up so had to use one of them old usb1 round plug type

nowt to do with bios the keyboard is hardware and as such directs to bios the bios allows windows to use the keyboard , something like that anyhow!!!!!!

you will be able to acccess it somehow, mine would not work earlier today, removing battery to do a reset fixed it

Thanks, I hit F1 and go into the bios. What I'm trying to do is get an old floppy drive to work I have an hp computer and took an internal floppy drive out of a Dell tower, the computer is recognizing the drive but won't read the disc, tried a few disks but won't read. I thought maybe it was disabled in the bios.
