My old desktop computer with Windows 10 died, and my new one has Windows 11. While transferring all my apps and programs to Win 11 I lost my Epson printer icon. How do I get it back?

Hi lunarlander,
Thanks for the reply. I checked both the Program Files AND Program Files (86) and Epson Isn't listed. However, I have seen it elsewhere and I printed two things yesterday.

Hi terxasbullett,

Thanks for the reply but my Epson XP-200 is not listed in my program and program (86) files. I did find it in bluetooth and I opened it. So I can print and scan like normal, but I would prefer to have an actual shortcut icon.

I assume the Espon icon is for the software suite that was provided for your printer. Your quickest recourse would be to reinstall the software. What printer do you have?

Hi couriant!

Thanks for the reply but my Epson X-200 printer is not listed in any program files. I did find it in bluetooth and opened it, but I would prefer that it had it's own icon shortcut.

Thanks texasbullet!

While waiting for a reply I actually stumbled onto how to get a shortcut. On some page that shows my hardware in icon forms, I right clicked on the Epson printer icon and listed was "Create Shortcut."

Thank you so very much for your help, and if I lose the Epson icon shortcut again I will look into your instructions.

Thanks again, Mark
