Hey guys,

I have an Epson Stylus CX5400 that has worked great for me. The ink ran out and I changed the cartridges and now it won't print. It goes through the motions of printing, but no ink is on the paper. I am 100% certain that the plastic is off of the tips (I've checked 10 times). Any suggestions?

That can be caused by putting the wrong color cartridge in the wrong slot if you use 4 cartidges. I don't know what your configuration is though. Two or four colors.

How old were the "new Cartridges"?
If they were unused for quite a while, the ink in the jets may be dried.
They can be fixed using a solution that disolves the clotted ink.

Over the years there have been many problems with bad Epson cartridges and I contacted them often to get them replaced, and that is what it sounds like. There are Asian cartridges that are dried up and counterfeit ones from other areas ...
