My GPU is apparently "unsupported", but NVIDIA says it is
My Graphics Card is "unsupported" yet everything is fine according to NVIDIA
My GPU has needed a driver update for a short while now, and when I try to update it to the suggested driver for my GPU (GeForce 1050 Ti), it restarts the computer after telling me everything else is up to date in 800x600 and that I have an unsupported Graphics Card.
The message states "There is a problem with your graphics card. Please ensure your card meets the minimum system requirements and that you have the latest drivers installed." The NVIDIA updater tells me my system requirements are up to date and by "latest drivers", I'm trying to update to my latest drivers.
There is an "optional" Windows Update called "NVIDIA display" that I suspect would solve my problems, but the update keeps failing and it won't tell me why.
Do you more experienced guys know how to fix this?

Thanks, but that driver is a downgrade I think from the original driver I was trying to update. I managed to reinstall 378.49 and fixed the screen quality.Try this driver :- https://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/109860

I'm a dumb stupid idiot so I have to ask you guys for help.
1920x1080 Monitor, Windows 7, GTX 1050 TI
I'd been having troubles with my driver for a while now. Every so often if I had more than a couple of videos loaded at once things would start freezing, crashing, once things stopped messing up, a message would say something along the lines of "Display Driver stopped working but started working again".
It's now gotten to the point where games like TABS and TF2 (not exactly most visually demanding) can't load without crashing or having a crazy graphical errors.
I'd installed GeForce experience a few months ago, but I had issues with it and left everything as it was. Now when I updated to GeForce Game Ready Driver, my screen turned black, and once I restarted my PC, my screen was now in 800x600 (previously with black birders around the edge of the screen.
When I had this issue a few months ago, I was able to install my old Driver from the internet and I was back to normal, and that's what I've done to remedy the problem this time.
When I looked into the issue further this time, I found that, yes, the Driver **had** installed and my Driver **was** the correct version.
So does anybody know what the issue causing this is? How it can be fixed and updated?

I've merged your new thread with the existing one. Please do not start more than one thread for the same issue.
I've also removed three links that seemed to be trying to insert a phone number into them. In any event they didn't go anywhere so they were useless.
