I am trying to get my messenger to work so I can webcam and audio my family. I am able to get the webcam to work fine but the audio portion won't work. Error message just says audio has ended or network or computer is unable to connect. I've been reading and asking on some other sites about this. Any suggestions about what to do. I've heard that it might be firewall or router problems but I only have a modem and no router. Maybe firewall with my ISP? (earthlink) I'm using Windows ME and the latest version of messenger. I've tried using an older version of messenger as well but no luck. Any help would be appreciated - I'm pretty frustrated. Could be I need to set my ports to something different because of NAT router at my ISP? Just guess here. Thanks!

To make the problem more interesting:
Using the same computer, same windows login, everything the same
but on one msn account...the problem occurs
but by changing to another person in the family's account there is no problem

I was changing the accounts on the other end..so i know my account is fine. It is a problem with the other persons account.

So... i guess if you make a new msn account it might solve the problem...

Anyone who can fix my friends bad account or has any ideas at all would become my hero because my mate does not want to change thier email.
