Hey!
I'be been having some troubles with my MSI, but the most glaring one is that if I run a game with my Nvidia dedicated graphic card, the laptop will shutdown after a while (Can take anywhere from 3 minutes to about 30-40, depending on the game and graphic settings.)
I can confirm that it is not a heat problem for both the CPU and GPU temperatures stay under 65 degrees celsius.
While researching possible explanations, I found out that it might be that the laptop doesn't get enough energy to sustain the itself. In that regards, my ac adapter is kind of suspicious. You can feel something moving inside from time to time if you shake it. Not to mention that when it shuts off like that, I need to remove it and then plug it back for the laptop to recognize it, otherwise it won't charge from it and just run on battery power.
Other than that, I tried Dragon gaming center and noticed that the Power Consumption keeps hopping from 40 to around 100 erratically (When running a game.) When it is idle, it is around 40-55 W. I don't know if this is normal for a laptop or not however.
I am considering buying a new ac brick but I figured I'd ask before I do so.
Thanks for you reading
