I would like to know why I can't uncheck programs from the Windows start program list when I go to MSCONFIG. It says I don't have the Administrator rights to do it (I'm the only administrator). I have to do it in Safe mode instead. It works then but the same error message appears. It used to work fine before. Do you know how to fixe that ?

Thank you

I've been getting the same message since I installed the latest updates and Windows defender.. BUT.. I can still check/uncheck things and even tho I get the message they remain checked/unchecked.. So far I've just been saying Ok and it lets me anyway.. will begin looking into it soon.. keep us posted if you find the answer.
Yeah, that debate is a long running one... but the issue here is why all of a sudden lots of us are getting that new message "you can't change things in MSCONFIG because you don't have administrator rights" (paraphrased of course) :)
