If I purchase a copy of MS Office Student / Teacher edition on-line, what will I need to do to activate it? Will they want a copy of my student ID or something? Also does it expire?

Thanks!

No, S&T version does not require ID to purchase.
It does not expire.
It can be loaded on up to 3 computers "in the same household"
It is for use by students, teachers and their families, not for commercial use

Details of eligibility are here:
http://www.microsoft.com/office/editions/prodinfo/students/doyouqualify.mspx
Note the "You are still eligible to use this product after you or a member of your household no longer qualifies as an educational user."

Wow - I learned my item today. I thought only 2 copies could be used, and wasn't aware of the "same household" part. I thought one copy could be "at home" and the other copy "at school".
