When I am connected to the Internet, my mouse clicks automatically. Sometimes when I click, it double-clicks. Sometimes it selects things from drop-down lists. Sometimes I can just hear it click but can't see that it is doing anything. If I look at my list of recently visited sites, I see www.sandboxer.com. . . listed over and over. I never see the sandboxer.com site on my screen and don't recall ever visiting that site. I think that the problem must be in Internet Explorer. Could it be anywhere else? How can I regain control over my mouse?

Thank you so much! I visited the site you suggested and one more site. I combined instructions from both of them to get rid of sandboxer and regain control over my mouse (at least so far). I actually scanned with HiJackThis to locate the first problem. Then I deleted files from Windows Explorer. Then I deleted two entries from the registry. All of this was done in safemode so that the files could not be rebuilt from running memory. Quite a challenge for me, but the "thrill of success" is such a relief. You're wonderful!
