Hello, I was downloading something which was making my computer slow, so i went to add/remove programs to uninstall on thing, when it finished almost every icon on my desktop was gone, and the thing i was installing is now gone, where could of it gone?
Most of my icons gone?!?

you need to run a good system repair software to sort your problem out...sometjing like norton will do the job, sounds like you have picked up a virus that has messed up your registry and if you are not confident with manually changing the settings a good system software package will do the trick.... remember if its free softare downloads be careful most are full of adware and some are full of viruses
