MorphVOX - Voice changed after uninstall

1051 Views 3 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  Oddba11
Greetings,
I've been searching through the internet as much as I was able to, now my nerves are blank and I gave up on hope. Yesterday I installed "MorphVOX" to edit my voice into a monsters one - for records playing Evolve 2 - but it didn't work as I expected it to do, so I simply uninstalled it. Now comes the annoying thing: my voice was still changed into a deeper frequencee - eventhough I had uninstalled it.
I have already looked through the Registry Editor for leftover files and my local harddrive - nothing to find - still the voice is changed. Please help me, I don't want to defragmentate my PC for solving this.

Edit: My voice sometimes isn't affected when recording - but sometimes it is. It doesn't change throughout a single record, but there seems to be a chance for this bugg to happen everytime I start a record.

Did you reboot after uninstalling the software?
Did you reboot after uninstalling the software?
Yep.
Assuming it was uninstalled, I have no idea.

You get an uninstaller program such as Revo Uninstaller. Install Revo, reboot, then reinstall MorphVOX, then use Revo to uninstall it and scan for leftovers. That will ensure it is all removed. Then reboot again.

Aside from that, if audio is still being affected, then it's most likely another application.

I will also add that some sound card drivers/software have similar features. Ensure you haven't altered something there.
