I would first ask someone if they have some input on my thread I started here. My screen continually either goes to the safe mode look of colors or just goes completely black, but does not shut off right away. And I'm still getting the question of hardware found would you like to install the RAID Controller.

I also have had avg find some virus'. It's a Java/ByteVerify. They are stored in C:\Documents and Settings\Jason\.ipi_cache\jar\1.0\achive.jar-210157cd-2cd99b1f.zip\Beyond.class

There are 6 infected files it says. There are 3 Beyond.class and 3 archive.jar files.

It's also found Trojan Hourse PSW.Bispy.B

I thought I had gotten rid of this but it keeps coming back or never went away maybe. Thanks a bunch. Here's a HJT log. Thanks

Well I can't figure out exactly where the virus is now b/c when I attempt to run AVG the screen now goes blank and the computer just sits there not restarting or shutting down, just freezes I assume. I believe its happening at the time it finds the virus. Last time the Bispy.B virus was in C:\Docume~1\Jason\LOCALS~1\Temp\(a set of numbers/letters that change each time it was found before.

Got rid of BytVerify though, thank you.:) And this time I restarted it didn't ask me to install the RAID Controller.

Also in the Customize Notifications(right click in system tray), in "Past Items" there are a few items that seem strange. It displays a song I have on my computer and shows a quicktime icon next to it, althought i play it in winamp. Shows a bunch of Peer Guardian v1.99 although I'm pretty sure I deleted it off my computer. As well as a Peer Guardian icon with the lable Minibug Installer. That's the one that seems strangest to me.

Is there an anti-virus program that you recommend that I can d/l that will be better than AVG?

Exactly what I was going to attempt to do. However, now I'm unable to get into Safe Mode. It will come up with the screen where I can choose:
Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Networking
Safe Mode with ......

but it automatically puts the cursor on Start Windows Normally and I cannot cursor up or down. Not to mention the RAID Controller installer wizard is back.

Okay ran a few of them. The first found the virus' and removed them. The other two did not find anything.

My screen changed size and color again. Should I try and install this "RAID Controller" I've read it has to do with Intel and I believe I have the disk I need. Or can I download it somewhere?
