Monitor

Thank you, GRIFFINSPC, for your response.
If you mean by "powering-up", plugging in the monitor to the computer and power source then I did that but still the monitor shows the same message. I can't see how I can activate the monitor using the PC as the message states. Can you help me with that?

Thanks again, Griffinspc, and thanks also to you, kiwiguy, for your quick responses. Your remarks did help me by urging me to make sure the connections were correct. I found that the monitor was plugged into the wrong place in the computer. I hurriedly hooked up the computer and monitor and neglected to check it. Thanks again. I appreciate your help.
