Monitor won't sleep when not logged in

600 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  zzed
Why is it that when I'm logged into my Win2k system, all of my power saving settings work fine, but when I log out and the system sits at the "CTL ALT DEL to log in" box, the standard "Windows 2000 box" screensaver kicks after a while and never puts the monitor to sleep? Is there somewhere else I have to adjust settings to put the monitor to sleep after an hour when I'm NOT logged in?

The only power options in the BIOS are to enable or disable APM and ACPI. They are both enabled.
