Monitor refresh rate not working as it should

I have a Tuf Gaming VG27A monitor that is said to have a 165 possible refresh rate. Despite this, my Windows 11 system only allows me to choose between 120, 100 and 60. In addition to this, only the 60-hertz work as using 100 makes the screen slightly blurry (Noticeable on small writing) and if I try to click 120, it just sets it automatically to 60.

Does anyone know why the text is blurry past 100, and why 120 doesn't even work when the screen is said to be able to hold 165?

What is the description of the graphics device in your computer?

What connection do you have between your computer and your monitor?

Are you using your monitor's native resolution?

I don't know what type of connection I have between my computer and my monitor, nor how to check it. But here is "My rig" from the Geforce app if that's to any help.

Remove the cable from the computer. What does the port on the computer look like?

I'm with Liz. Sounds like you are using HDMI.

Over 60 will require G-Sync and a DisplayPort connection.

From Asus:
*Selective graphics cards/GPUs can support 165Hz graphics source output (DP port).
