I bought a Liquid Video 17" Flat-Panel LCD Monitor
Brand/Model: NEG A170E101 from Circuit City. It works great with my laptop, but have problems with my desk top.

Every few days the screen becomes unreadable, with all the horizontal lines running through it. I have to re-boot and everything is fine for a few days.

Desktop - W98SE
Laptop - W2k

It is supposeddly plug & play. I have not been able to find any drivers for it.

Thoughts?

more likely video card on it's way out,or drivers corrupted

If video adapter drivers are corrupted, how to I fix them?

uninstall from the device manager reboot into safe mode and reinstall
