Hello:

Your monitor should have nothing to do with it, actually.

What you need to know is the name and model of your video adaptor. Then you need to find and install the video drivers.

I'm having trouble finding a video adapter. I've been to ATI Tech and they don't even list it. here's my model number:
Graphic Pro Turbo
Chip type: Mach64gx Rev F
Dac type: ATI68860 Rev C
Do you know where I could get a upgrade or something else that I could use? Thanks

Well, we have to find out what model you have so we can find the proper drivers.

Try this: dowload Aida32 Install it then doubleclick the Display Icon, then Windows Video. See if it lists your adapter.

HI DAI, do you figure I still have the wrong driver?
After I downloaded this aida 32, I went looking and on the motherboard chip set it says agp is disabled this may cause proformance penalty.
does this have anything to do with it

after installing the driver did you set it up in display properties,
agp would be disabled if you are using a pci card

I have made a mistake.

when I read your adapter model I assumed it was AGP but now I see it is a PCI.

I found a pro turbo pci driver and am hosting it on my own site, for your ease of downloading. Just click the link below:

Sorry for the confusion! I hope this is the right one.
