My monitor is flickering - driving me nuts. I can't find where in Windows 98 to change refresh rate.

Go into control panel and select Display > Settings > Advanced > Monitor:

I tried that, but in the monitor window, I don't have an option to change refresh rate, only a place to change default monitor. I'm running Win 98.

My screen was flickering (sort of) changing to a bluish then pinkish color and I discovered the screws holding the video card in had loosened. You could wiggle where the cable connects in the back of the computer and see if it makes it occur. Good luck and welcome to TSG!
