I have just fitted an internal PCI modem (Ambient Intel HaM Plus V90), found the drivers and installed it OK but I am being asked for Modem Audio Device drivers for it and can't find them anywhere.
Any ideas?

I tried it a number of times, getting drivers from different sources and rebooting in between etc.
I can only think the modem has been wrongly identified, or is faulty.
I have another one , so I'll try that one - thanks for your help.

I took out that modem and fitted a Motorola SM56 Speakerphone modem, found the drivers (checked the chipset ), installed it OK, but on reboot it keeps asking for drivers for 'modem audio device'.
I disabled modem AC'97 audio in the BIOS, but still it keeps asking for drivers.

The modems are 2nd hand, they came from working machines - so no disks. I have used them in the past but not for about 12 months.
I got the drivers from driverguide using the ID numbers on the modem chips.
I have one more modem to try (PCTel PCT789T-A and it doesn't have any audio outputs on it).
