I have recently downloaded/installed WinMp10. When I attempt to use it, I receive an error msg. advising that the program is missing 2 codecs and to go to a certain site to download the codecs. How can I determine which codecs are missing ? Am running IE6
in WinXP(home.) Thk-U for your assistance.

What type of file are you attempting to play?
The K Lite Codec pack on THIS page is a good all round starting point when it comes to asking the question 'what codecs will I need'. The pack contains the codecs you are most likely to need on your travels.There are 3 versions - basic, standard and full. Read the descriptions for what best suits your needs.
For the specific codec required we would need to know what you can't play.

Thanks Moby my WinM will not operate downloads of WMV, PPT, PPS and sometimes audio that is part of gif files. I will try the site you recommended.
