Hi eddie 5659

Have noticed all your posts re MS Office. I have just got this (I also have Lotus) and was wondering about transferring stuff to it. Should I be consulting all these posts and following the instructions?

Thanks

Hiya Lyn

This actual thread is about transferring Lotus to Excel 2000, not the other way round, which I assume is what you meant.

There were plenty of other's, but I just posted the main ones :)

If you do want to go to Excel 2000, then by all means have a look at the link, and the exe included. It should help. If you need some help, just ask :)

Hi eddie

Thanks for reply. I have used Lotus for a few years now but I have found most people use MS and if I forget and attach a WordPro doc to an email, no-one can open it and I end up changing it to rtf and re-sending. So I thought I would try Word, etc. My databases and spreadsheets are on Lotus of course but perhaps one day when I get time (!) I may transfer them.

The main reason I have stuck with Lotus is their booklet smartmaster (template) which is not available in other applications (as far as I know) though Word 2002 now has one. I produce a Newsletter and it automatically prints the pages in the correct order. So I will stick with Lotus for the booklet but use Word for everything else.
