Hi,
I'm running Windows 2000, 256 MB ram, 533 Mhz Celeron.

My system seems to crash frequently with what looks like the blue screen of death although it looks different then Win 95/98. It says something like:

-driver irql-not-less-or equal

-beginning of dump of physical memory

-cdr4_2k.sys

Any ideas what this might mean? I have plenty of memory.

Thanks.

That is a driver for a cd burner.

Some win2k systems have problems with this after upgrading to Media Player 7. The fix for this is to boot into the recovery console.

Here is a link to the Yahoo group that has information about this problem http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AT-group/message/566

BTW, that is the blue screen for Win2k.
