MEMORY CHIP INSTALLATION HELP
I need to install a new SODIMM chip for my NEC Versa 6050MH laptop.
I've checked the technical manual and do not see where it goes.
I've even partially disassembled the unit to find it and I don't see it.
Need some help if anyone knows.

there's usually a access door on the back or you have to remove the keyboard, on laptops.

Thanks very much for your quick response.
I went back to the tech manual and read carefully.
The manual referred to a removeable memory card in the hard drive bay.
So, behind the hard drive, (under a back access panel as you said), is a removeable memory card.
I couldn't tell before if that was the base memory or not, but another statement in the manual indicated that the base memory was not removeable.
So, I believe I've solved the puzzle.
